TOMBALL ISD - Tomball Elementary School student Jessica Seidner is
passionate about helping others. This bubbly and energetic 4’11” tall
fourth grader packs a powerful punch when she is on a giving mission.
Over the past two years, she has participated in and developed ideas
for five community service projects at her school. The projects
included Soap for Haiti, a walk-a-thon to benefit juvenile diabetes,
Pennies for Patients, a food drive, and a pet supply drive.
Seidner was inspired by her father, who often helps out
neighbors and
friends. Seidner believes it is important to help
family, friends and
people she does not know because that is the
best way to improve
society. “You should always help those in your
community and your
society who don’t have a lot of things that you
always have. These
projects help people and pets, and they bring us
together to help each
other,” she said.
