HOUSTON
– Nine candidates have filed for three Spring ISD Board of Trustees
positions that will be on the ballot in November. The candidates for
position one are incumbent Ruth Watson, Scott Brittain, Lora Lee
Hedrick and Deborah Jensen. The candidates for position two are
incumbent Calvin K. Tang, Steven E. Mills and Nicole Murray. The
candidates for position three are incumbent Justine Durant and Sean M.
Perrodin.
Board
members are elected for rotating, three-year terms. Although elected to
numbered positions, trustees represent the district as a whole, not a
specific geographical area.
The
Spring ISD Board of Trustees election will be held in conjunction with
the Harris County election on Tuesday, Nov. 2. Individuals who are not
registered to vote must do so by Oct. 4 to be eligible to vote on Nov.
