KFHS Yearbook Earns Recognition
Members of the Klein Forest yearbook (Evergreen) earned a gold medalist certificate with all-Columbian honors in design from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association, given by Columbia University. The staff earned 925 out of a possible 1,000 points. Taylor Publishing Company has named the staff as a semi-finalist for Taylor Publishing Company’s yearbook competition.
International Business Academy Conducts Food Drive
Students enrolled in the Klein Forest High School International Business Academy conduct an annual food drive for Northwest Assistance Ministries (NAM). Last year, the students collected 2,117 cans for the drive. This year, the students surpassed their goal of 4,000 cans by collecting 7,357 cans for persons in the greater northwest community.
