ATLANTA, GA -- Susan M. Ansel, EVP and Chief Operating Officer for Gables Residential, has been named by Real Estate Forum as a 2010 Woman of Influence. This award recognizes women who continue to make great strides in the commercial real estate industry by advancing their companies with unparalleled leadership and innovative business strategies.

Ansel, a 23-year veteran of the company was noted for her contribution to Gables’ impressive results this past year which included outperforming peer operating MF companies in same store NOI growth, completing the lease-up and stabilization of 950 multifamily units throughout 5 new developments, and growing the firm’s third-party management business with the addition of 16 contracts. Sue is an active member of the National Multi Housing Council, the Real Estate Council of Dallas ,the National Apartment Association and was recently named to the 2010 Broadband Properties MDU Hall of Fame Top 25.
