I can’t believe it’s been almost twelve months since I began working as the Site Administrator for Your Christian Connection –Community—The Social Network for The Cypress Times. It’s been an exciting year for TCT Social Network, and with over two hundred fifty members, twenty-one groups and twenty-three administrators on the team, I can honestly say it has also been a successful year
During the month of November we will be celebrating TCT Social Network's 1st Birthday by inviting new members to this unique Social Network. Membership is open to ALL readers and contributing authors of The Cypress Times

TCT Social Network endeavors to maintain a safe Christian environment for The Cypress Times readers and its contributing authors. We accept no inappropriate language or behavior. We strive to keep a balance of groups related to writing, reading, photography, ministry groups and other groups that will be of interest to the members. We request that members do not start a group until they have first discussed their intentions and motives with either John Winder or myself. Most groups to date have been accepted, except for one or two that would not have been beneficial to the members, or could caused damage to the Social Network and The Cypress Times. This is not intended to discourage but rather to avoid a huge amount of groups that remain stagnant or have in appropriate activity. We do not allow advertising in groups; however you may do so in the appropriate forum. Our forums have a huge variety of subjects that aim to please all members.

Group Administrators Support
Most of our members are active in some way or another. Some members prefer to remain within their own profile page, while others join groups and become active members. There are many ways to become involved besides the groups. Our Prayer Room is our most active group, and this is fantastic because both The Cypress Times and TCT Social Network is based on prayer. Also, each week we have a member discussion in the forums. These discussions vary between Christian, Biblical and day to day topics. This weekly combined membership involvement has proved successful and many friendships have been formed through this activity.
