
Houston - Jack O'Connor, candidate for Texas State Representative, District 149 has announced the endorsement of Young Conservatives of Texas. O'Connor will be on the March 2nd Republican Primary ballot, and upon a successful campaign victory on March 2, will face Democrat incumbent Hubert Vo in the November general election.
Upon receiving the endorsement, Jack O’Connor said, “I greatly appreciate the hard work of Young Conservatives of Texas. They were thorough in their questioning and I find myself in great alignment with them on their issues. YCT is a great organization of individuals seeking limited government, fiscal responsibility and prosperity for all.” O’Connor concluded, “I am grateful for the support of YCT and pledge to them that I will have an open door to their members when I am elected to the Texas House.”
Young Conservatives of Texas, a non-partisan conservative youth organization, has been fighting for conservative values for more than a quarter century in the Lone Star State and publishes the most respected ratings of the Texas Legislature. YCT and its members participate in the entire spectrum of Texas politics, attempting to shape the policies of the state of Texas through a number of means including educating students and the public, advocating conservative fiscal and social policies, campus activism, campaigning for political candidates, and rating the Texas legislature.
Jack O’Connor has also been endorsed by Empower Texans PAC along with numerous precinct chairs and local Republican leaders, including precinct chairs.
Jack O'Connor is married to his wife Karen of 31 years and has a son, Peter, who lives in Houston. Jack and Karen are members of the St. John Vianney Church.
