The paperwork was submitted in Bryan, the third city in which Daiell campaigned this last weekend. He had addressed meetings in Houston and Texas City on Saturday.
Daiell, 57, lives in Houston. He holds a .A. in Government from Centenary College. In 1990, he drew over 129,000 votes in that year's gubernatorial race. He is married, with three children and three grandchildren.
