IT'S OFFICIAL: DAIELL FILES FOR GOVERNOR; CAPS THREE-CITY CAMPAIGN SWING BY SUBMITTING PAPERWORK TO LIBERTARIAN STATE CHAIR

Jeff Daiell's candidacy for the 2010 Libertarian nomination for Governor of Texas is now official. Having months ago filed his Campaign Treasurer Appointment, he earlier today submitted his Application for Nomination to Lago Vista City Council member Pat Dixon, the Chair of the Libertarian Party of Texas. The paperwork was submitted in Bryan, the third city in which Daiell campaigned this last weekend. He had addressed meetings in Houston and Texas City on Saturday.

Daiell, 57, lives in Houston. He holds a .A. in Government from Centenary College. In 1990, he drew over 129,000 votes in that year's gubernatorial race. He is married, with three children and three grandchildren.

Excellent News! The voice of reason always..

Jeff Daielle's candidacy raises the bar for Texans worried on real issues that affect the every day citizen, parent and elderly person nearing retirement.

We need to move beyond party politics and deal with issues in a pragmatic, practical way in the tradition or real Texas politics!

His voice has always been the voice of logic and reason and a welcome addition to what is often just politics as usual.

If we want real change then we need to change the way we view politics and move beyond a two party system into a world where multiple viewpoints for a common good can be expressed and heard!

We need to believe that change IS possible!

I am very excited for Mr. Daiell's announcement and for the Libertarian Party!! Based on some of the campaign issues mentioned on www.jeffdaiell.com, Mr. Daiell shows that he will be an effective leader for our great state and should receive the nomination for GOvernor of Texas!
