Campaign Manager Urges Supporters of Medina, Wieder to Back Daiell Campaign
(Houston) - Jeff Daiell, a candidate for the 2010 Libertarian nomination for Texas Governor, says results from the primaries held on March 2nd by the two tax-subsidized parties show that those parties do not welcome supporters of the free market and Constitutional restraints on government. The Daiell campaign, he stressed, welcomes such individuals.
"I share their passion for Liberty," he declared. "The defeats of Democrat John Wieder and Republican Debra Medina make it clear that the leadership of both Beltway Parties is turning a deaf ear to Tea Party supporters and other advocates of limited government," Daiell said.
"It is more starkly clear than ever that, for supporters of the free market and Constitutional restraints on government, the only votes not wasted in November will be votes for Libertarian nominees."
Daiell's Campaign Manager Christie Cole-Pearson urged Texans who supported Mr. Wieder and Ms. Medina to now become active in Daiell's campaign.
"They came unto their own," Cole-Pearson said of such voters' reception by their current parties, "and their own received them not. Jeff Daiell's campaign will welcome them gladly."

Daiell holds the record for the most votes, and the highest percentage, by a Libertarian nominee for Governor of Texas. In his current race, he has campaigned in 23 counties, with more scheduled.
Daiell's platform combines support for free enterprise with respect for civil liberties. Several planks are already posted at the campaign's website, www.JeffDaiell.com, with more to be added as issues arise. The campaign also has two separate Facebook pages (Daiell for Governor), and is on Twitter (WeAreTexans) .
