(Houston) - The Jeff Daiell for Governor Campaign proudly announces the appointment of Crystal "Pru" Reardon as Campaign Coordinator for Brazos County. Ms. Reardon, 23, was a volunteer in U. S. Representative Ron Paul's 2008 presidential campaign and Debra Medina's campaign earlier this year for Texas Governor. She is in her senior year at Texas A&M.
Ms. Reardon's duties will include recruiting Brazos County volunteers, arranging campaign events (including speaking engagements), and serving as the campaign's contact person within the County.
Campaign Manager Christie Cole-Pearson said of the appointment, "This shows that Jeff Daiell attracts supporters of all ages. This campaign will not concede a single constituency to the nominees of the tax-subsidized parties."
In accepting the position, Ms. Reardon said, "Candidates from both the Republican and Democratic parties will continue to produce the exact same results if they are (re)elected. I am dedicating my time and talents to Jeff Daiell's campaign because he is the only candidate who can bring authentic change, and I believe that is what Texas needs."
Daiell holds the record for the most votes, and the highest percentage, by a Libertarian nominee for Governor of Texas. In his current race, he has campaigned in 21 counties, with more scheduled. Daiell's platform combines support for free enterprise with respect for civil liberties. Several planks are already posted at the campaign's website, www.JeffDaiell.com. The campaign also has two separate Facebook pages (Daiell for Governor), and is on Twitter (WeAreTexans).
