Campaign Manager: We'll Battle Ds, Rs All Across Texas
(Houston) - The Jeff Daiell for Governor Campaign has appointed Bill Grisham, CPA, as Campaign Coordinator for Bexar County.
Mr. Grisham is an eight-year veteran of the U. S. Navy. In December of 1982, he graduated from Southwest Texas State University with honors. A native Texan, he has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1986.
Mr. Grisham's duties will include recruiting Bexar County volunteers, arranging campaign events (including speaking engagements), and serving as the campaign's contact person within the County. Campaign Manager Christie Cole-Pearson said of the appointment, "Jeff Daiell knows that a Statewide race requires a Statewide organization. We intend to create one, and we intend to take the fight to both Beltway parties in every part of Texas. We are not conceding a single county; we are not conceding a single constituency.”
Mr. Grisham said, "I am always happy to support a lover of liberty for a political office and Jeff Daiell is a most worthy competitor for the Governorship of Texas. I'm happy to be on board."
Daiell holds the record for the most votes, and the highest percentage, by a Libertarian nominee for Governor of Texas. In his current race, he has campaigned in 21 counties, with more scheduled.
Daiell's platform combines support for free enterprise with respect for civil liberties. Several planks are already posted at the campaign's website, www.JeffDaiell.com. The campaign also has two separate Facebook pages (Daiell for Governor), and is on Twitter (WeAreTexans).
