Campaign Manager Say Appointment Shows Campaign is "Texas-Wide, Texas-Strong"
HOUSTON - The Jeff Daiell for Governor Campaign proudly announces the appointment of Zack Smith as Campaign Coordinator for Dallas County. Mr. Smith is a member of the Executive Committee of the Dallas County Libertarian Party.
Mr. Smith's duties will include recruiting Dallas County volunteers, arranging campaign events (including speaking engagements), and serving as the campaign's contact person within the County.
Campaign Manager Christie Cole-Pearson said of the appointment, "This is further proof that Jeff Daiell is building a Texas-wide, Texas-strong campaign."
In accepting the position, Mr. Smith said, "We need strong leadership here in the Great State of Texas that supports Less Government and More Freedom. My goal is to ensure that all of Dallas County, all of Texas, knows that there is another path in November, a path that leads to Freedom: Daiell 2010!"
Daiell holds the record for the most votes, and the highest percentage, by a Libertarian nominee for Governor of Texas. In his current race, he has campaigned in 21 counties, with more scheduled. Daiell's platform combines support for free enterprise with respect for civil liberties. Several planks are already posted at the campaign's website, www.JeffDaiell.com. The campaign also has two separate Facebook pages (Daiell for Governor), and is on Twitter (WeAreTexans).
