Campaign Manager: Move Shows Daiell Has Statewide Appeal
(Houston) - The Jeff Daiell for Governor Campaign is proud to announce the appointment of Karen Stack as Assistant Director of Research.
Ms. Stack is an attorney in Travis County. She had not been involved in political campaigns previously, but was attracted to the Daiell candidacy strongly enough to volunteer for the campaign, and later to accept this position.
Her law degree is from Case Western University. She holds a baccalaureate and an M.S. in life sciences.
Campaign Manager Christie Cole-Pearson said of the appointment, "This shows once again that Jeff Daiell and his message are attracting support across Texas, including from people who were not previously politically active. In a year when distaste for the two Beltway parties is intense, that's one ability the 2010 Libertarian nominee for Governor of Texas simply cannot afford to lack."
Daiell holds the record for the most votes, and the highest percentage, by a Libertarian nominee for Governor of Texas. In his current race, he has campaigned in 23 counties, with more scheduled. Daiell's platform combines support for free enterprise with respect for civil liberties. Several planks are already posted at the campaign's website, www.JeffDaiell.com, with more to be added as issues arise. The campaign also has two separate Facebook pages (Daiell for Governor), and is on Twitter (WeAreTexans).
