Says Libertarian Backs Goals "Simple
Justice Requires"
HOUSTON -- The Rev. Robert O. Delley, Pastor of Houston's Faith Missionary Baptist Church, says Texans should
support Libertarian Jeff Daiell for Governor.
Daiell is seeking the Libertarian nomination atnext
month's State Convention.
"I'm not a member of The Libertarian Party," The Rev. Delley
said, "but I agree
with Jeff Daiell that it's time for the State Government
to quit favoring the privileged and the powerful.
"Continuing to vote for those indebted to the privileged
and the powerful obviously will not -- can not -- bring about the
'level playing field' that the rest of
us need and which
simple justice requires.
"I think you will find
this November that Jeff Daiell will be the only candidate
for
Governor who owes nothing to the special interests;
his only obligation is to the
voters and to the ideals
of Freedom,
fairness, and opportunity. Every vote he receives will help force our State Government to end
its favoritism toward the special interests and adopt that
'level playing field' as its goal. I hope you'll join
me in supporting him."
Bobbi Schwartz,
Editorial Consultant for
the campaign, stated, "The Rev. Delley's
statement shows
that the Daiell campaign is reaching out successfully to
all Texans -- Texans of all races, all religions, all occupations. This African-American pastor is
also a veteran, having followed active duty with many
years in the Army Reserve, retiring from the Reserve as a
major."
