TEBOW AD AIRS DURING SUPER BOWL; LIBERAL WORLD STILL REELING
Tim and Pam Tebow

If you missed it, you can catch the entire ad below.  The sound is not great and this looks like someone recorded it with a home camera as the ad aired, but you can see it in its entirety.  You can also go to FocusOnTheFamily.com to see the ad.

Now that you’ve seen the ad, I have to ask you, “Why did the liberal world lose its collective mind over this?”

Prior to the ad airing last night during the Super Bowl, abortion groups were up in arms over the ad even demanding that CBS pull it.   Erin Matson, the VP of the National Organization for Women, demanded CBS pull the ad and called it a message of “hate” and that the ad was “un-American”.

What do these people smoke?

The Women’s Media Center wrote CBS saying in part, "By offering one of the most coveted advertising spots of the year to an anti-equality, anti-choice, homophobic organization, CBS is aligning itself with a political stance that will alienate viewers and discourage consumers from supporting its shows and advertisers. The decision to air this ad would be ethically, economically and politically disastrous for CBS."

From the same group:

"An ad that uses sports to divide rather than to unite has no place in the biggest national sports event of the year – an event designed to bring Americans together," said Jehmu Greene, president of the  Women's Media Center.

Can anyone tell me specifically (without red-faced ranting and shouting) what was divisive about that ad?  Anyone?  Anyone?

You’re all for “choice” until someone with the courage of their convictions decides to “Choose” to disagree with you or, as in the Tebow Ad, to even suggest an alternative to abortion.

The Women’s Media Center, Planned Parenthood, N.O.W., none of the pro-abortion crowd opted to purchase their own Super Bowl Ad to counteract the “Un-American”, “hate” message from Focus On The Family.   They chose instead to cast aspersions, make accusations, point fingers, scream, wail and behave as if someone were trying to kill them as they slept inside a God-given sanctuary of peace, protection and security.  No wait.  That’s abortion.

If you spend your life supporting the killing of babies in their mother’s womb, you have to expect some opposition from people who are devout Christians, devout Muslims, and devout Jews.  You have to expect to fade some heat now and again from people who believe those babies ought to have a choice, too.

God Bless Tim and Pam Tebow.  God Bless Focus on The Family.

messages for the masses
The ad appears to be a blatant and obviously now successful attempt to attract people to the focus on the family website. It's effectiveness will depend upon how many people see value in focus on the family. The group has every right to run the ad and other groups have every right to protest the ad and CBS has every right to make money from a group that wants to express itself. Of course the primary focus of the super bowl is to sell junk food, beer and more branded football gear. So if focus on the family wants to be messaging people about living a christian life while they are stuffing their faces and watching a great football game, with sidelong glances at scantily clad cheerleaders then they should be able to.

excellent commentary
You are absolutely right. Most of the pro-abortion crowd flees from debate and wants to silence argument, even while they proclaim the sanctity of "choice".
