
This is a fast, inexpensive and hearty dish that's great to make during the week. You can also substitute turkey for chicken.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 pounds boneless chicken breasts
12 ounces spaghetti
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 small can of mushroom pieces
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Place chicken in 2 quarts boiling water, reduce heat and simmer until chicken is tender. Remove chicken from water, reserving broth . Cut into small pieces.
Cook spaghetti in broth according to package directions, drain well.
Combine chicken, spaghetti, soups, mushroom pieces, half the cheddar cheese, salt and pepper in large baking dish. Top with remainder of cheese.
Cover with foil and bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes.
