HITLER AND METH?
ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Over the years as the drug Meth surfaced and gained the reputation of being the most addictive and most deadly, I heard many myths about it and how it stemmed from the reign of one of the world’s most famous tyrants - Adolph Hitler.

For many years, I was in charge of our community service department. Most of the men and women who were working off their fines were involved with Meth. As long as they were away from it, they were fine, but they would tell you in a heart beat that once they were out, they would go back to it; there would be no fighting it. It had them and controlled them. They also held to the story that Adolph Hitler was responsible for the manufacturing of Meth during World War II.

We have all heard the stories in our history classes about Hitler and his hatred of the Jews, the death camps and his obsession to take over the world. But, one story we do not hear is of Hitler’s personal physician.

Dr. Theodore Morell was a physician who came to know most of his clients socially, he always seemed to make a great impression on everyone he met and would soon introduce them to his miracle cures. And when Adolph Hitler heard of this doctor through an acquaintance, he decided to seek the good doctor’s advice on an intestine problem he was having.

Dr. Morell made such an impression on Hitler that he remarked, “Nobody has ever before told me so clearly and precisely what is wrong with me. His method of cure is so logical that I have the greatest confidence in him. I shall follow his prescriptions to the letter.”

These “Logical” prescriptions included exotic bacteria, hormones, phosphorus, dextrose, belladonna, strychnine and amphetamines; twenty-eight types of drugs in all.

After a few weeks, Hitler noticed a great improvement in his condition. “What luck that I met Morell!” he says. “He saved my life! Wonderful, the way he has helped me!”

For nine years, Dr. Morell treated Hitler. Any ache, pain or complaint was treated with pills, injections and medications. Many forms of treatment were considered questionable by many and even referred to as the occult. As a result of the treatments, Hitler sleeps no more than three hours a night, which is described as an “uneasy sleep.” He suffers from shaking, trembling, has a glassy-eyed look about him and is a human wreck. In only a few months, he appears to have aged years, yet he still professes his confidence in Dr. Morell.  In truth, he is addicted.  He cannot live without the treatment.

Through out the years, the name Dr. Morell would fade into history, but none would ever forget the name of Adolph Hitler. The man who hated, killed and wreaked more havoc on the world than any other individual, was in fact a drug addict. So yes, the truth of the matter was, He was definitely involved with Meth or some form of it.  So now we can put the myths to an end because history does reveal that Adolph Hitler was in fact …“High.”

Apology
Sorry, Robbins - I did misread your commentary. I thought you were saying The Cypress Times was mainstream media ignoring JFK's meth use. My mistake.

Hope you'll forgive the nasty comment.

Sincerely,
Earl Hollis

meth
My posting was not meant to be a criticism of Kip's article...as I took pains to point out right at the start,it was simply meant to be a supplmental bit of info....as for my being 'off my nut',well,JFK's use of meth adminstered by Dr Max is hardly news...that's been common knowledge for years..and I mention it as merely a parallel example of charismatic world leaders who have used it on a regular basis...I fail to see the reason for hurling opprobrium at me for that

Misread Comment
I think some of you may be misreading Robbins Mitchell's comment. I see no criticism of Kip's article nor of The Cypress Times in the comment.

Mitchell what are you on?
This article isn't an expose on everyone who has every used meth...it is about the myth that Hitler invented Meth. It has no relevance to what you think about JFK or what he actually did or didn't do anymore than it should detail the name of every meth freak in America today. Can you read?

You're really off your nut here, Robbins if you think The Cypress Times is MainStream Media - this is a Chrsitian conservative publication that is constantly critical of mainstream media - maybe you should try reading more than one article before jumping to such an outlandish conclusion.

meth
I should point out here as a supplemental bit of info, that JFK's personal physician,Dr Max Jacobson..aka 'Dr Feelgood'..used to inject JFK with meth on a regular basis when he was in the White House...yet another example of our diligent mainstream media covering up the misdeeds of its favorites
