"INSPIRED TO ACTION" ENCOURAGES READERS TO LOOK OUTSIDE THEMSELVES FOR THE SAKE OF OTHERS

SEATTLE - (ANS)- Rebecca M. Pratt takes her readers to Africa, Central America and the United States to bring awareness to needs around the world and to stimulate people to help the suffering.

She does so in her book, "Inspired To Action: How Following the Promptings of Your Heart Can Change the World."

According to a news release, Pratt shares her experiences and challenges in her own walk with God to inspire readers to trust God in the unseen.

The news release says Pratt brings her readers into the lives of those suffering and hurting, and she shares about being faced with unbelievable decisions that changed the outcome of hundreds of children's lives in Africa. Her book challenges readers' faith as they reflect on their own personal walks with God.

"You will be challenged to live your life purposefully, and to embrace the concept that we each have the ability to make a huge difference in the world as we say yes to all that God may prompt us to walk forward in," Pratt said in the release. "In return, we will live this amazing, empowered and fulfilling life like we have never experienced."

In the news release, Pratt said her readers will get a glimpse into God's redemptive heart for humanity. She hopes they will begin to listen to the promptings and nudges of their hearts and take action as a result of reading "Inspired to Action."

Pratt has lived all around the world, including Benin, Liberia and West Africa for two years with her family. She is the cofounder of a nonprofit Christian organization named Orphan Relief and Rescue.

She and her husband have invested more than 13 years in humanitarian work in Central America and West Africa, and were awarded the "Champion for Children" award at the Portland, Oregon 2011 Child Abuse and Family Violence Summit.

"Inspired To Action: How Following the Promptings of Your Heart Can Change the World" is available for sale online at Amazon.com and other channels.
