Christian shares how God transformed her mindset after life-altering events
LEXINGTON, TN – What does being a Christian mean to you?
To Dian Wells Matlock, it means having a sincere relationship with the Lord and devoting your life to Him while encouraging others to embrace His love and power.
In her new Christian guidebook, Come Walk with Me to Glory: What Being Christian Means to Me, Matlock presents an inspirational insight to help readers explore the reality of the love of God in our lives through the direct, personal and down-to-earth style of a heart that has been tested and found to be true.
However difficult the test – whether it is losing a beloved husband to Alzheimer’s disease or a son to the ravages of AIDS, such as Matlock did – she believes that our focus must stay on God, despite the power of the tragic situation.
Matlock believes that by observing a “because-of-God life”, He will provide us with the right answers to life’s most difficult questions and situations.
“We must trust in God to become the anchor that enables us to survive the storms,” Matlock says. “Come Walk with Me to Glory offers an opportunity to see the spiritual life through someone else’s eyes and to grow through my experiences and consequences without having to live them.”
God filled Matlock’s heart with His spirit and a new song nearly 30 years ago while she and her late husband owned two large, beautiful Christian bookstores whose purpose was for ministry. For Dian, it became a life quest to pursue peace, tolerance and acceptance toward any and all who meet us at the Cross of Jesus and to do so with love toward her fellowman.
Come along as Matlock shares her very special journey to recognize the magnificence of God.
