FINAL WORDS
Philippians 4:8

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

I can’t imagine this universe without being able to see God’s beauty all around me. There’s nothing more beautiful than God’s creation. It’s as much a part of me as my Saviour himself. Everything he created was to His will and glory, and nothing was made by accident.

My Lord’s presence greets me each morning and through my relationship with Him, my life is complete. My days are filled with His beauty and His overwhelming goodness. There is nothing that I lack or desire.

After spending many months housebound and at times bedridden, my appreciation of His grace and mercy, overflows each day. Many of the poems in this book were written during times of pain and loneliness. Today, as even in my darkest hours, I have much to thank my Saviour for.

I love the dawn, rainbows and the freshness after the rain. The beauty of the foothills to the mountains beyond takes my breath away. Rivers that flow with calmness to the restless rush of waters and the powerful declarations of the oceans bring my heart and soul and mind into alignment with the Father.

All praise be to God for all that is good and true, for He isworthy to be praised.

Father, my prayer is not for me alone, but for all those who read this book. Let them take time out to soak in Your creation and see You in a new and powerful way, and in the glimpses of Your glory. Amen.
