My heart’s weighed down by the path mankind has chosen
And I
know the day is nearing when God will take us home…
When I see
sons rise up against their fathers,
And brothers rise up against
another,
I realise the ancient prophecies have finally come to
pass.
The wonder of your love
The comfort of your love
The
breadth of your love
I stand in awe and know that you are
here.
My heart reaches out
With a passion for your love…
Your
love flows through me
Like a river going home…
I stand in
awe
At your loveliness
And lift my hands
To praise
your name.
Words of truth, words so pure,
Gentle words in sweetest
song
Kindest thoughts that touch the heart,
A strong desire
to seek his will.
Beaten and humiliated,
They led my Lord away
To the mount
of death—
He was nailed and hung
On a wooden cross—
Naked and shamed
Like a common thief.
Here am I, my dearest friend,
All that I am is yours-
Praise God, He gave you to me,
Praise God, He gave me to you;
You are my love, my Valentine.
My aspiration to grow closer to my God is overwhelming,
Petitions to replenish my dwindling strength fill my heart—
Crickets chant and shadows dance...
Moonbeams peek through
distant trees,
Where birds sing in hypnotic trance
That
seems to echo beyond the seas.
Now is the time
It’s the year of vision
Yes, the Lord has
answered
He has heard.
I heard the Words of Jesus say,
‘Come unto Me.’
I heard
the Words of Jesus say,
‘I will give you rest.’
My soul is overwhelmed
With a desire I’ll try to describe
Within me now there’s a higher realm;
A realm of glory that
will abide.
Norm, you are my Valentine
Only you can touch my heart
Reminding me of all you do
My love and my soul mate
Always and forever
No one can take your place.
No burden I can hold alone,
I take them to the cross.
This life of mine is not own,
No matter what it brings.
Raindrops trickle from velvet soft roses by the gate—
Ladybugs
struggle to keep a grip on moistened leaves—
Butterflies flutter
their feather-light wings
And mottled stalks assent to the rising
breeze.
O taste and see all things He's done—
There’s nought but good
in our LORD,
His gentleness touches every life
And took our
place upon the cross.
