Like a bird in flight
My prayers take wing
Soaring heavenward
To my Lord and King
Seemingly set adrift
On an ocean of tears
No one to talk to
No one who hears
Sleep is a stranger
When the mind is a whirl
With thoughts and fears
Of souls in peril
The Bible is the Word of God
We do our best to follow
The world will do all it can
To make it sound false or hollow
I’m not a preacher
I’m not a teacher
Just a simple
artist
Trying my hardest
Through photos and art
And
writing from the heart
Spreading the good news however I can
Far and wide across the land
God's promise of unconditional love
Of His mercy and His grace
Draws us from the darkness
To seek Your face
It makes it hard to count your blessings
When all you have is sadness, depressing
Sometimes so many things get you down
Making it feel like you will drown
Words can be used
To wound or to heal
Lord change my heart
As here I kneel
Down on my knees
As the tears flow free
Feeling so
unworthy
Of Your love and mercy
How many times in a lifetime
Can dreams be shattered and broken?
How many times can a heart break
Without a word having been spoken
Your wonderful love
Set this sinner free
Coming from heaven above
You died for me
