backbiting
In fighting
insult trading
rude jibing

Go very early into the garden
While the world still slumbers
Darkness covering like a blanket
The night air still heavy with God’s tears

I wish for you, my friend,

To feel the gentle breeze
That rustles and moves the leaves
The warmth of the sun
Dappled and softened through the shade
And to see the sky, blue without a cloud.

Bitterness started to grow in my garden
Little green shoots
So like the grass
But I could see a fullness in the leaves
I knew it was unwelcome
But with the mower I soon
Trimmed the lawn
Short , neat and so tidy
Everything seemed in order
In my garden.

But a drenching dousing torrent
Soaking every part of me
Hair clothes and to the skin
Cooling refreshing invigorating
Dripping dropping delighting
Let me open my mouth
Drink in the cold water
Wet on my tongue
Swallowing,
Laughing
Frolicking

Waves of emotion crashing like the sea
Ebbing and flowing in torrents
Weariness and soul sapping pain
Tears in unexpected bursts
But STILL God's love holds me
He will not let me go
He holds me fast
Until the storm abates
And the rainbow comes

Feeling protected
