It sounds like a simple task to simply boil an egg but the reality is most people mess up and end up with a less than desirable product.

With Easter on the way, it is important to turn out a flawless boiled egg for coloring that does not have cracks in the shell from overcooking or not cooked enough where they will be soft at the yolk.

No...not that kind!  This is a fun, easy snack that the young children can help you with.  After you've made it, you can put into individual treat bags, tie a festive ribbon around the bag and let them hand out to their friends for their Christmas parties.

These are great munchies for parties, or can be given as inexpensive presents during the holidays when placed in celophane bags and decorated with festive curling ribbon.

Great on tomatoes and fish also!

Ingredients:
• 3/4 cup sour cream
• 1 tablespoon finely minced green onion, tops only
• 1/2 cup grated cucumber
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
• dash ground cayenne pepper

Aren't the croutons the best part of a Caesar salad? These croutons are made with brioche bread and they're delicious in soup or on a salad. One day I put some out with drinks and they all disappeared! This is a great way to use that leftover bread in the freezer.

I don't recommend eating this everyday unless you want to be on a first name basis with your cardiologist, but this is the real thing...perfect to smother over homemade biscuits.

Makes 3 cups
Prep: 5 min cook: 12 minutes

½ cup butter
½ cup all purpose flour
2 – 3 cups low sodium chicken broth
½ pan drippings – yummy!
¼ tsp. Poultry seasoning
1/8 tsp. freshly ground pepper
