THE WOODLANDS, TX - CiCi’s Pizza, home of the $5.49 endless pizza
buffet, announces the opening of its second location in The Woodlands
on Oct. 3. Area residents should be on the lookout for hundreds of
wallets that CiCi’s will drop with a coupon for a free buffet meal
tucked inside.
The 3,500 square-foot store will open at 11 a.m.
on Monday, Oct. 3. It will be located at 3707 College Park Drive in

Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers will celebrate the
grand openings of
the chain’s two new restaurants in the Houston area, on
Wednesday,
November 16th, with a series of

activities including a free
commemorative T-shirt,
voucher giveaways and a $1,000 donation to the community
at each
location. One of the two restaurants will open in Cypress, near the
newly constructed Berry Center, and the other new location will open
in
Pearland.

Houston Culinary Awards, held in the ballroom at the Hilton Hotel at
the University of Houston. The awards, presented annually by My Table
magazine and this year co-presented by Sysco, recognize Houston's top
culinary talentwith awards given in 10 main categories, voted on by
the dining public. For the second year, the event also included the 15
newer Foodie Star Awards. The 13th annual Legends of Houston
Restaurants award was presented to Jim Gossen, president/CEO of
Louisiana Foods Global Seafood Source and Jimmy G's restaurant, and
event proceeds benefited the Foodways Texas.
