Last night at The Berry Center a crowd of thousands gathered in an amazing outpouring of love for Jesus Christ.  The event was the Houston Hello Love Tour with Chris Tomlin and Israel Houghton & New Breed.  It was a concert of praise, worship, and a joyous noise lifted up to God by two of the best artists in Christian music. Yet it was so much more. 

It’s time to say ‘hello,’ again, to love.

With so many worldly distractions, it’s easy to lose sight of what’s most important. Chris Tomlin recognizes this and desires to reacquaint us with the one fundamental element that’s become all too elusive. He explains, “The thought I’ve had running through my head is that it’s time to introduce ourselves to love again. People need to be reminded that what we’re here to do is to love God and love people. Worship is a relationship of love. It’s our love of God and our love of people.”

In light of the time in which we live, I felt led to write and share this fervent prayer with many. Please join together with me in lifting up our praise, our thanksgiving, and our requests before the throne of Almighty God.
