DA'S OFFICE PRESENTS $475,000 TO HPD FOR REVOLUTIONARY ADVANCE IN FIGHT AGAINST INTOXICATED DRIVERS

HOUSTON - Harris County District Attorney Patricia Lykos today provided the Houston Police Department with nearly half a million dollars to purchase testing and evidence-documentation equipment to revolutionize local law enforcement's fight against intoxicated drivers.

The $475,000 grant triples the number of permanently-based Intoxilyzer breath-alcohol testing instruments in use by HPD, while entirely digitizing the video and audio recording of test procedures and results. There is no cost to taxpayers, as the initiative is paid for with money captured through the District Attorney's successful prosecution of criminal enterprises.

As the GOP battle for the nomination for the presidency rages on the leaders of the Republican Party are largely MIA. Larry J. Sabato the Director for the University of Virginia Center for Politics said today on Fox News that the lack of endorsements by major Republican Party office holders was the lowest in modern times for a presidential primary season.

The governors and Senators of the states in play are staying out of the fray. In Florida the next state to go to the polls the governor and high-profile Senator Marco Rubio are mum. Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, the son of one president and brother to another, is silent.

MEDICAID IS MISMANAGED TAX DOLLARS

When government controls health care, bureaucrats war against bureaucrats, medical care becomes a commodity, and the taxpayers pay dearly.

The federal government audited NJ Medicaid and determined that the state owes the federal government $145 million due to �mismanagement.� It claims that the state �improperly oversaw Medicaid patient-care services,� the part of Medicaid services involved in the �cleaning, grooming, bathing and shopping for patients� over three years beginning in 2004.

GOP ELITE STILL IN THE TANK FOR ROMNEY EVEN IN THE FACE OF FACTS

News broke today that Mitt Romney did not win the Iowa caucus by eight votes as was reported on caucus night, January 3, 2012. A final official tally now shows that former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum won the caucus by 34 votes.

On the night of the caucus, Romney's eight point victory was hailed as just that: a victory. Romney himself called it a victory. Today, the GOP and Romney say a 34 vote win by Santorum in Iowa is a tie.

When Romney was thought to have eight more votes than Santorum, it was not only a win, but it propelled Romney into the status of 'presumptive nominee' for the party.

EXPANDING MEDICAID WILL DECREASE ACCESS TO CARE

�The purpose of profit is to encourage competition,� said NJ gubernatorial candidate Bret Schundler. Too bad he didn�t win in 2001, as his free market approach to our economy would have dramatically enhanced prosperity in NJ. Instead, as private enterprise has declined, one in seven New Jerseyans is now on food stamps and Medicaid, dependent on the government for basic needs. Every NJ governor since 2001, including the current GOP darling Chris Christie, has cooperated with the federal government, accepting federal tax money and expanding Medicaid as prescribed.

Profit causes more people to supply a service or product. Increased supply causes competition, and the one who provides the best quality at the lowest price wins. This is the free market. The only impediment to a free market in medical care is government intervention.

NEW STUDY FINDS WIND FARMS BIG PRODUCERS OF CO2 AND RELATED POLLUTANTS `

A recent study by Civitas, The Institute for the Study of Civil Society, points out that wind farms actually produces more CO2 and related pollutants than would be used, if wind turbines were left running on grid power at all times.

The necessity of constantly turning on wind turbines when the wind is favorable, and off when the velocity is too high, along with the grid power necessary to maintain them, actually causes the operation of wind farms to produce more pollution than if the turbines used the grid to operate constantly.

Each time the grid is used to start turbines on a wind farm, a surge of electricity is needed to power up the fossil fuel station where the power originates.

The recent announcement by the U.S. Army that several officers and enlisted men were being charged in the death of Private Danny Chen illustrates the problems that can occur when there is a breakdown in command discipline in a military unit. Poor leadership and a tolerance of racism toward Asians created an environment that failed Private Chen and the U.S. Army.

According to relatives, Chen�s fellow soldiers harassed him by taunting him with ethnic slurs and one time pulled him out of bed and dragged him across the floor; they forced him to crawl on the ground while they pelted him with rocks and called him names.

MORE VIEWING WIND ENERGY AS A SCAM, HARMING THE ENVIRONMENT WHILE PRODUCING NOTHING

The latest news concerning wind farms comes from the Fish and Wildlife Service. A proposal was made by the West Butte Wind Power LLC located in central Oregon for a permit that would allow the wind farm to kill up to 3 Golden Eagles within a five year period.

Such a proposal is meaningless, since the number of Golden Eagles killed by the wind turbines within the first six months would surpass that number. This does not include other protected birds that would also be killed by the turbines. Overall, the official number of protected birds killed by wind turbines per year is estimated at about a half million in the United States alone. This number is more than likely a very low estimate since most kills are not even reported.

MSM CONTINUES THE PUSH FOR ROMNEY

An article on Yahoo News today asks the question: �Is it over?� referring to the GOP nomination for president. The article which is datelined New Hampshire says that Romney�s frontrunner status is �So formidable, in fact, that it may be impossible to derail.' The context of the statement is not just New Hampshire, but the entire race.

Chris Wallace of Fox News heretofore believed to be as �Fair and Balanced� a journalist as there was, even called Romney the �presumptive nominee� the night of the Iowa Caucus, and he did so before a single vote was cast.

The media has an agenda, and it has nothing to do with informing you so that you can cast your vote in an intelligent manner.

WHY PHYSICIANS OPPOSE THE INSURANCE MANDATE

There is much confusion about the health insurance mandate in ObamaCare. Its advocates assume that deadbeats will avoid buying insurance until they get sick, thus gaming the system, and causing the premiums to rise for everyone else. However, since insurance will be forced to cover pre-existing conditions without charging more, the law will actually encourage this behavior.

The most important reason to oppose the mandate is that the government gets to choose what we are mandated to buy. This leaves room for all types of �providers� to lobby Congress to have their particular service included in the mandate. The government also determines allowable deductibles, administrative costs, and covered services�and who is allowed to provide those services. All this will raise premiums, reduce the number of available insurance products, and reduce choice for American patients.

It seems like the media spends a good amount of its time trying to keep Ron Paul from being a legitimate contender in the Republican primaries. There have been too many discrepancies with Paul by the media to ignore. They have tried to label him as a conspiracy theorist with radical ideas, ignoring him as much as possible, to out rightly cutting him off during debates while he is making a point. There have even been incidents of interrupting his supporters who happen to make it to the airways, such as the recent war veteran who was cut off by CNN after voicing support for Paul in Iowa. Anybody would have to be a drunken zombie not to notice this bias. It is very clear that the media does not want Ron Paul in the White House and will stop at nothing to see to it that he doesn't.

The reason for the media not wanting Paul as the Republican nomination to go against Obama is quite clear. It is simply because they want to spin a Republican candidate as a major contender such as Mitt Romney only because they know Romney isn't electable.

The latest propaganda from the Global Warming/Climate Change/Global Climate Disruption fanatics comes in the form of a claim by Amato Evan; that recent strong storms of a tropical nature in the Arabian Sea are the result of industrial pollution from India. This is only his latest claim since previously, he blamed it on dust. The truth is he is grasping for straws in an attempt to prove GW/CC/GCD. The fact that the title keeps changing, now being GCD is evidence of the whole idea being nothing more than a lie. So far, no physical evidence could be found of warming, and the term, 'Global Warming' had to be changed to Climate Change. This lasted long enough for people to realize that overall climate wasn't drastically changing after all, and now we have Global Climate Disruption in which the term can be used in instances of extreme weather.

IOWA � Rick Santorum pulled off an amazing upset in the Iowa Caucus last night by coming in second behind perennial candidate Mitt Romney by just eight votes. Romney has long been the anointed choice of both the GOP establishment and the media. Not to mention Barack Obama who would chew Mitt up into tiny bite size Romney chunks that could just flip flop all over the place on their own like Mexican jumping beans.

Last night during early coverage of the Iowa Caucus returns, Mike Wallace of Fox News called Romney the party�s �presumptive� nominee. Has anyone ever before been called the �presumptive� nominee with no victories (at the time of the statement) and no major national poll numbers above 25%?

Some folks would call it treason. I'm one of them. What is this treason you ask? It's the National Defense Authorization Act that was signed into law by president barack obama. This is the law that allows the military to detain US citizens indefinitely as terrorist or
supporters of terrorist. What exactly is a terrorist or what supports terrorist is very vaguely defined. That vague term in times gone past would be unconstitutional, but those days are long gone. It should be noted that when a few of our reps tried to put forth amendments that fully excluded US citizens those amendments were SOUNDLY defeated by both parties.

Section 1021 requires military detainment of al quaida, taliban, associated forces, and any and all 'supporters'.

DES MOINES, IA � Polls, polls and more polls but tonight actual votes will be cast by Iowans, and someone will be crowned the winner of the Iowa Caucus. The Iowa Caucus is the biggest thing in the entire political world�until the New Hampshire Primary which will be the biggest thing in the world until the South Carolina Primary and so on.

The mainstream media has pounded us over the head with poll after poll and pundit after pundit making predictions of all sorts and throughout the past months since summer it has been predicted that the GOP Presidential Nomination is a two man race.

RAND PAUL FOR VICE PRESIDENT?

The media is buzzing over the dramatic and recent rise of Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) in his race for the presidency. He is a reflection of the old joke about �overnight success.� Overnight, give or take untold years of campaigning for various offices. Reuters is now reporting that Paul is now only one percentage point behind the latest �anti-Romney� front runner, Newt Gingrich in one of the only places such polls matter, which is Iowa. The Daily Caller is reporting that Paul, may in fact have the lead as Gingrich begins to shrink. Many are asking the question, can we take Paul seriously?

Rush Limbaugh is feeling rather �bullish� about the GOP�s prospects in 2012, stating that any of the Republicans � except for Ron Paul � could win in 2012. Why do more traditional conservatives fear the rise of Ron Paul and fundamentally believe he cannot win in November of 2012?

WHY A FENCE WON�T PROVIDE BORDER SECURITY

The quick and easy solution to closing the border is to put up a fence. So say just about everyone running for president these days. Each candidate in turn offers to build the fence bigger or better or faster. It�s a sound bite solution that plays well in the 60 seconds allotted during debates for solving all the world's complex issues. It is an easy to grasp answer that soothes the masses and allows a candidate to flex their illegal �immigration� muscles for those on the right who rightfully demand a secure border.

EVERY ELECTED OFFICIAL IN OFFICE SHOULD BE REPLACED IN 2012

As usual Barack Obama continues to display his irresponsibility in his opposition to the Keystone oil pipeline project which could possibly create as many as 20,000 jobs for Americans in one of the worst economies since the Great Depression.

First his excuse for rejecting the project was because of the environmentally sensitive aquifer in Nebraska, an area where the proposed pipeline would cross.

After that was solved by a plan to reroute the pipeline outside the aquifer area, Obama continues to drag his feet on making a final decision awaiting more environmental impact studies.

The truth is he never plans to approve the project and wants to delay his decision to scrap it until after the 2012 election. Either way Obama is keeping his record in tact as being the biggest detriment to improving the US economy in history.

EDMUND DE ROTHSCHILD EMPIRE IN QUEST FOR GLOBAL FINANCIAL DOMINATION RESPONSIBLE FOR GLOBAL WARMING PUSH

The recent claim by scientists of finding hundreds of plumes of methane gas, some 1,000 meters in diameter, bubbling up through tundra in the Arctic of Russia in general and Siberia in particular, would have everyone believe it is happening because of melting polar ice due to Global Warming/Climate Change. As usual and as always, the deception is also found here, just the same as with all of the press releases associated with so-called scientific discoveries which are strictly designed to promote GW/CC.

Supposedly, there is all this methane being released into the atmosphere because the Polar ice sheet has retreated and thinned to the point that methane gas is escaping through the tundra in areas where normally it would be covered by a thick layer of ice. What they deliberately did not tell the world was they monitored this phenomena in an area of the world where this high level of methane should have been expected.

In an effort to slow down some of this community oversight of their activities, the Board of Trustees of CFISD has hurriedly (with the minimum time allowed by law, maybe) called a special meeting for Monday, December 19th. The meeting will be held in the Board Room of CFISD Instructional Support Center, located at 10300 Jones Road in Houston. It will begin at 3:00 p.m.

Is the Tea Party foregoing its values in exchange for a perceived victory?

The Tea Party has never been a top down organized political party, but rather it has been a genuine grass roots movement that managed to change the face of American politics. The Tea Party earned its chops by sticking to its core beliefs without compromise and demanding the same from the people it helped elect.

In 2010 the Tea Party chose its candidates because of their genuine conservative values, not for electability. The Tea Party gained supporters and respect because it refused to compromise belief in exchange for victory. The result was a grass roots movement that achieved more victory than defeat and managed to topple Democrats from power in the U.S. House in unprecedented numbers.

To the Public Servants of the United States of America,

The death of a nation happens with a whisper and a nudge, patiently and stealthily, robbing its unsuspecting citizens of inalienable rights and replacing them with governmental controls...for the good of the people, of course. Only when it is too late to turn back the clock does a nation realize that freedom has vanished in the blink of an eye.
Two weeks ago, the United States Senate issued a death knell to freedom. The passage and signing away of ourrights to due process and presumed innocence fundamental to the Constitution can be found in Senate Bill 1867, the National Defense Authorization Act. Tucked deeply into this bill in section 1031 is the provision in question, and this should chill every U.S. citizen to the core.
