1) What is TheCypressTimes?

There is the long answer found HERE in our About US Section and there is the short answer:  TheCypressTimes is a daily, 100% interactive multimedia (print, audio, video) newspaper serving the Cypress and CyFair area with compelling content: news, sports, weather, business, real estate, a business directory, classifieds, a social network and more. 

2) Why do I need to register as a reader?

You don't.  You can read any and all of the articles, stories and columns in TheCypressTimes without registering.  NOTHING is restricted to non-registered readers except our contests:  Those called Community Awards and those featured contests that we'll run each day, week and month in TheCypressTimes via an email campaign to registered readers for whom we have email addresses.

Registration is FREE.  There is NEVER a charge to read TheCypressTimes.  Registration allows you to enter contests, add your commentary to any article, column, or story in TheCypressTimes and it allows YOU to become a writer for TheCypressTimes. 

Registration is requested because it is a way for us to organize our reader list, and to communicate directly back to you via email.  We'll be sending limited emails (never more than 2 per week) to our registered readers with special offers, contests and more that those readers who do not register will not be aware of.

3) How do I become a writer for TheCypressTimes?
