TheCypressTimes is the first 100% interactive online multimedia newspaper and Connection Community for Cypress, Texas.

The mission of TheCypressTimes is to connect Cypress area residents, community leaders, civic organizations, non-profits, faith-based organizations, and area businesses via an interactive daily communications platform driven by compelling multimedia content. 

TheCypressTimes content includes:  News, inclusive of Local Cypress News, National News, and International News.

Sports:  Local Cypress Sports at the elementary school, middle school, and high school level, inclusive of intramural sports. 

TheCypresstimes covers professional and college sports with an emphasis on the University of Texas, Texas A & M, Baylor, Rice, and the University of Houston. 

Weather:  We have weather on our front page, focusing on Cypress.  Our weather is deliverd in both written form and audio form by our Staff Meteorologist Mike Arellano.

Mike Arellano is a longtime Houston area meterologist with an extensive knowledge of our Gulf Coast weather.  Mike has been heard for years on some of Houston's best radio stations.  TheCypressTimes is very proud to have Mike on our team. 

Politics:  2008 is an election year and TheCypressTimes will be covering all the races that matter to the people of the Cypress and CyFair area.

TheCypressTimes features weekly columns written by our local area public office holders:  State Senators, State Reps and more.

TheCypressTimes features columns written by current office holders, those standing for re-election, and the contenders.  These columns are written so YOU can see what each candidate has to say in their own words on a very personal level.

We'll have a full-color daily Real Estate Section like other publications only publish on Sunday.  Our Real Estate Section features Real Estate Advice and Tips from local real estate experts and listings of homes for sale throughout Cypress, and beyond. 

Like all of TheCypress Times, the Real Estate Section is fully interactive allowing YOU to read articles and view listings, showcase videos, photos, slideshows and access direct links. 

YOU will are able to connect immediately to a listing, a particular Realtor, or other Real Estate related businesses:  Mortagage Company, Home Inspectors and more. 

TheCypressTimes features a daily Travel Section with reviews on Day-Trips from Cypress, Vacations, Cruises, travel advice, and information.  Our Travel Section is full color and 100% Interactive connecting Cypress to a world of exciting trips, activities and travel opportunities.

Our Entertainment Section features Movie Reviews, Music Reviews, and a breakdown of all the Live Music Venues in the Cypress area.  We have interviews with Movie Stars about their latest films in both written and video form.  TheCypressTimes also has interviews with musicians and groups scheduled to perform in the Cypress area.

Our Family Section is chocked full of information and news relevant to Cypress area Family's and Children.  Our Kid's section includes kid's activities, amusements and things to do as a family in Cypress and beyond.

TheCypessTimes also has a teen section.  It is our intent that this section focus on the issues that are relevant to teens, not what adults THINK is relevant to teens. 

So, we invite Cypress area teens to write this section themselves.  Very little, if any, of the information and stories found in our teen section will be written by our staff.  This is for teens, written by teens. TheCypressTimes also encourages Cypress area teens, young adults, and any others who may be interested to check out our Social Network. 

Our Faith Section features columns by local area Pastors and focuses on the faith-based opportunities of fellowship and service that exist in the Cypress Area.  We are blessed to live in an area with growing, active Churches on nearly every corner.

TheCypressTimes will work with local Churches to make sure YOU know what's going on and how YOU can get involved.  If YOUR church is not represented in our pages we encourage YOU to get involved.  Talk to YOUR Pastor and encourage participation. 

TheCypressTimes features Youth Group information, details on Missions, and Ministry, as well as video sermons and musical performances.  The Cypress area has some incredibly talented musicians and singers who perform each week in Cypress Churches that you don't want to miss.

TheCypressTimes Medical/Health section features Cypress area physicians, dentists, and other medical and health related professionals, as well as information about new procedures, alternative forms of medicine, and where to go when YOU need help or what to do when YOU simply want to be in better health.

Social Network

TheCypressTimes also features a fully-functional 100% Interactive Social Network.  Think of it as a "Facebook" or "MySpace" for Cypress.  You can even use our Social Network to interact with your existing Social Network, or existing networking group. 

We encourage each and every one of YOU to join the Cypress Social Network either as an individual, or create a User-Group for your non-profit organization, Church, Civic Group, subdivision, HOA, or anything related to your favorite hobby or activity.
