The media and anti-Palin forces [many times one and the same] went nuts on Friday when Sarah Palin didn’t announce her candidacy for President of the United States. As the day went on, it became quite comical. Never mind that Sarah, who appeared Thursday evening on Fox Business News’s Freedom Watch, told the viewers she wouldn’t be announcing on Friday and was holding her cards close to the vest. I’m always amazed that people think Sarah should lay her cards on the table, spell out exactly what she intends to do to win the presidency. Would you expect a general going to war to tell the enemy what his plan of attack would be? Err, no. Nor would any other candidate be asked to do this. At this point in time, Sarah has no reason not to tell her millions

Sarah Palin starts out her interview on Freedom Watch by saying she’s holding her political cards close to her chest. Then she takes on Juan Williams for erroneously saying she disrespected Herman Cain when interviewed by Greta Van Susteren. Sarah also talks about the debates, their worth, and the voters’ responsibility to do their homework looking into candidates and their records. Something we advocate as well. Sarah then talks about the role of government, and how the larger, more remote government is, the more danger to Liberty and Freedom there is. She also goes after the “permanent political class,” crony capitalism, and corporate welfare. Sarah brings up Solyndra and calls it “[Read More] |

More evidence that even the Republican Establishment™ is sick of the current GOP field. First it was Mitt Romney, now it’s Mitch Daniels. From The Hill:
Could Daniels be angling to be on Sarah Palin’s short list for vice presidential picks:

Sarah Palin [as the Republican nominee] would be the GOP Establishment™ Unemployment Act ~ Amy Siskind This is a great two hours worth radio with hosts Stephen K Bannon and Amy Siskind. Guests include NY Times columnist Anand Giridharadas, Human Events editor Tony Lee, Real Clear Politics reporter Scott Conroy, Rob Port from Say Anything blog and Sonnie Johnson of Did She Say That. What’s interesting is Siskind and Giridharadas are democrats, so we get to hear comments on Governor Palin’s speech in Iowa from that perspective. Hint: they were both blown away. Siskind gets it right on many levels. If Sarah Palin runs, she says, it will be the death knell of the Republican Establishment™. In fact, it will be the death knell of the entire Ruling Class, the Establishment™ in both parties. Tony Lee talks about crony capitalism and how governmental corruption h... |

An interesting bit from a Newsmax article reporting on the Donald Trump-Rick Perry meeting. It seems Trump offered one of his clubs for Perry to have a fundraiser at, but when Perry tried to get a little more from Trump, like an endorsement, The Donald told Perry to settle down, he was waiting on Sarah Palin: Trump diplomatically told Perry he would not make an endorsement in the GOP primary race until he knows whether former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin plans to run. “He told Perry nicely that he probably wouldn’t endorse anybody until she made her intentions known,” the source said. |

Sarah Palin was on Greta’s show Monday night after the debate to give viewers her thoughts on the event. She said without a doubt the Tea Party was the big winner of the debate. She praised CNN for helping legitimize the movement. After that it was all about Rick Perry. Michele Bachmann and Rick Santorum went after Perry hard over his decision to usurp the Texas legislative process and order school girls to be injected with a risky vaccine, by Executive Order. The charges of crony capitalism were levied by both Bachmann and Santorum, a concern that was furthered by Sarah. Sarah went as far as reminding viewers that she had worried at the time what Perry was up to, and referred to the 25,000 e-mails the media went through as proof of her concern. At the time Sarah says she saw Perry as a fellow “Maverick” and reformer, and this concerned her greatly. She also praised Newt Gingrich for being the one to talk about
government waste a... |

This is some cool video of fire fighting planes gathering water to fight the flames that have engulfed Central Texas. It takes a lot of skill to fly these planes and pick up the water. It’s amazing how fast they are able to fill up. These firefighters are true heroes. Austin resident Deanne Roy published this photo on her blog as well as a map of the fires.
This is looking east from 1-35 in South Austin. Please pray for Texas. |

As you know, on Monday, while giving a speech with President Barack Obama, union thug leader Jimmy Hoffa, Jr screamed “We’re ‘Army’ Against Tea Party; ‘Let’s Take These Sons of Bitches Out’.“ This would be shocking if not for the fact that it’s standard fair for the thugs who run and manage unions. It’s not the rank and file, hell, most are union members simply because they live in slave states that force them to join a union in order to work. It’s the cost of having a job. And not all unions are run by thugs, but the vast majority are, and the most powerful are joined to Obama at the hip. We’ve all seen how Obama has stolen from shareholders of car
companies, only to give it to the unions, and how his justice department
has harassed non-union shops. This is crony capitalism at it’s worst.... |

Sarah Palin stopped by Storm Lake, Iowa Sunday morning and ran in the “Jump Right in and Run” half-marathon organized by the Storm Lake Running Club. Sarah ran as “Sarah Heath,” her maiden name. The Des Moines Register gives us a copy of the finishing order. Sarah finished second in the Women’s 40-49 class.
