1 Chronicles 29:11 Thine, O LORD is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all. This is such a beautiful verse, I couldn't help but share it. At first read one would think it to be a Psalm. I pray it will bless someone today as it has blessed me. Have you ever wondered how great our Lord really is? I can’t measure His greatness but when I walk beside a raging river, take in the glories of secluded valleys, wake to see the amber sunrise and watch whispers of candy pink clouds left by the setting sun as it slowly melts into the horizon, I know I have only witnessed a diminutive glimpse of His infinite greatness. I can’t imagine this universe without being able to see God’s beauty all around me. There’s nothing more beautiful than God’s creation. It’s as much a part of me as my Saviour himself. Everything he created was to His will and glory, and nothing was made by accident. Because of His majestic sovereignty, I worship and praise His Holy name. Lord, your greatness is all around me and yet I only see a speck of the enormity of how great you really are. I cannot comprehend your power and glory but you are the Lord of all and greatly to be praised. Amen © Chrissy Siggee Scripture Verses used are from the King James Version of the Bible |

Rising, falling, Gliding, flying.
Mantled in whispers of cloud, Little white dove blissfully endowed.
Gliding, flying. Softy embracing a heavenly tone, Fly little white dove in skies unknown.
Gliding, flying. Little white dove rise beyond the dance, Through the power of a rhythmic trance. © Chrissy Siggee |

In a sanctuary calm and truly simplistic, My creator God is quite artistic— His purpose soothes both body and mind, With nature’s melody and aroma combined. to dream, …is like a beautiful song Gone is the coldness of a long dreary winter, Finest décor softened each frosty splinter… Nothing and everything seems symbolic, Yet…I long to be free and enjoy a frolic. to dream, …is to explore the memories Comfort is found in this heavenly bliss, Visions of spring like a treasured kiss… Spirals of colour emerge from a wistful maze, Fresh new scents mingle in this gentle haze. to dream, …is just the beginning Nature’s chorus awaken the senses, And kindles some odd but natural defences… Will today bring forth the finest occurrence? Inside, I feel the Creator’s assurance. to dream, …is the joy of new life to come Earth soaki... [Read More] |

Just a quick note to say that "Final Words" may have been the last of the articles that were included in my successful book, "Glimpses of His Glory", However, it's not the end of my poems and articles that I've written, and will continue to write, that proclaims the greatness of His creation. From here on, I will continue to publish my favourites poems and articles as I would if I were to publish a follow-up book -- "Glimpses of His Glory No. 2". God bless Chrissy |

Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. I can’t imagine this universe without being able to see God’s beauty all around me. There’s nothing more beautiful than God’s creation. It’s as much a part of me as my Saviour himself. Everything he created was to His will and glory, and nothing was made by accident. My Lord’s presence greets me each morning and through my relationship with Him, my life is complete. My days are filled with His beauty and His overwhelming goodness. There is nothing that I lack or desire. After spending many months housebound and at times bedridden, my appreciation of His grace and mercy, overflows each day. Many of the poems in this book were written during times of pain and loneliness. Today, as even in my darkest hours, I have much to thank my Saviour for. I love the dawn, rainbows and the freshness after the rain. The beauty of the foothills to the mountains beyond takes my breath away. Rivers that flow with calmness to the restless rush of waters and the powerful declarations of the oceans bring my heart and soul and mind into alignment with the Father. All praise be to God for all that is good and true, for He isworthy to be praised. Father, my prayer is not for me alone, but for all those who read this book. Let them take time out to soak in Your creation and see You in a new and powerful way, and in the glimpses of Your glory. Amen. © Chrissy Siggee Scripture Verses used are from the King James Version of the Bible |

Rainbow colours, glorious, Melt into scenic views— Radiant through softened glow, Creating all things new. Freshness lingers past the rain, Embracing nature’s charm— God’s vibrant promises still proclaimed With tender hues of calm. Sunbeams gently stroke my face, And Heaven’s warmth abides— My spirit yearns for His embrace And peace His touch provides. He gently soothes a hurting heart, And wipes away each tear— With healing words, my grief departs And sorrows disappear. Assurance fills my life again— Beyond the clouds I see Dreams and visions to explore With joyful heart that’s free. Humbly now I worship my King, Fresh tears of joy I own; With new words I begin to sing, Giving Him my life to hone. © Chrissy Siggee |

Echoes of early birds twills fill my ears, Gleams of sunrays kiss my face, Fragrances from the dew-fresh grass tease my senses. Opening my eyes, I see a crimson sky— I can almost taste the sweetness of the early morning; Sunlight announces a new dawn rising. © Chrissy Siggee |

The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
