New Jerusalem,
The holy city,
With a wall of jasper,
And gates of pearl,
Clear as glass.
A city of pure gold,
Its foundations adorned
With a variety of jewels.
Topped by Jasper,
Sapphire, Agate and Emerald
Adorn the wall;
Onyx, Carnelian and Chrysolite
Enhance its appearance;
Beryl, Topaz and Chrysophase
Add to its ornamentation,
With Jacinth and Amethyst
Completing the glittering array.
New Jerusalem,
The holy city,
Appears from heaven,
Its radiance sparkling
Like a most rare jewel.
The Water of Life
Cascades through its midst,
Bright as crystal.
Behold! Here comes
The glittering, gloriously arrayed
Golden city of God.
