God will truly guide,
If we promise to abide,
By His Word.
As we wait at His feet,
In the sweetest fellowship,
We shall hear His gentle voice
Whispering to us softly.
All we need to do is listen,
In the deepest attention,
Paying the utmost heed,
To the divine Word
Of our Lord.
As we bow to obey,
We shall surely find,
Treasured blessings of every kind,
Flowing through our hearts and minds,
Bringing health and healing,
Joy in pain,
Never loss but gain.
Obedience is what God demands,
We must obey His commands,
And by doing what He says,
He will richly fill all our days,
With happiness and praise.
